2009 Harvest Gala

To share our vision with the wider Bay Area community and to raise the necessary funds to make this vision a reality, the BSFC held its First Annual Harvest Gala on November 20th in the David Brower Center in downtown Berkeley. The event included live music, organic food, a fantastic silent auction and raffle, and exciting guest speakers. Alli Reed, fundraising coordinator for the BSFC, described the gala as “a formal dinner event with a twist—it’s being organized by students and youth, so we’re getting creative and fun with art displays, musical performances, and other elements. It’s going to be an opportunity to get inspired, to support a really incredible vision and movement, and most of all, to have fun!”
